Title: ORTAOKUL SOSYAL BİLGİLER VE T.C İNKILAP TARİHİ VE ATATÜRKÇÜLÜK DERSİNİN LGS (LİSELERE GEÇİŞ SİSTEMİ)’DE ETKİSİNİN ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİNE GÖRE İNCELENMESİ

ÖZET
Bireyin toplumsallaşmasını sağlayan sosyal bilgiler, hayatın kendisini konu alarak bireyin geçmiş, günümüz ve gelecekle bağ kurmasına yardımcı olmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı Türkiye’de Ortaokul Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin 2017/2018 eğitim öğretim yılından itibaren uygulanmaya başlanan Liselere Geçiş Sistemi (LGS) ve sınavdaki İnkılap Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersi sorularına ilişkin görüş ve düşüncelerini belirlemeye yöneliktir. Katılımcılara, 2018 yılında yapılan son değişiklikle sınav süreci ve bu değişikliğin uygulanma şekilleri konusundaki eksiklikleri ve olumlu tarafları belirtilmiştir. Öğrencilerin sınavlara kendi okullarında katılmasının sınavın olumlu bir tarafı olduğu, okullarda kullanılan ölçme araçları ile merkezi sınavlardaki ölçme araçlarının birbirinden farklı olmasının öğrencilerde okul başarısı ve LGS başarısı arasında farklılıklara yol açabildiği, merkezi sınavlardaki ünite dağılımının dengesizliği, Sosyal Bilgiler haftalık ders saatlerinin azlığı, yapılan sistem değişikliklerinin sonuçları ve bu sonuçların öğrenci ve veliler üzerinde oluşturduğu olumsuz duygulara değinilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerine uygun olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu tercih edilmiştir. 8 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni ile yapılan yüzyüze görüşme verileri ilgili alan yazın verileri dikkate alınarak içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Bu analizlerin sonucunda; ülkemizdeki sınav geçiş sistemlerinin olumlu ve olumsuz yanlarına, daha iyi bir sisteme yönelik Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın yeni bir çözüm bulması gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF SECONDARY SCHOOL SOCIAL STUDIES AND T.R REVOLUTIONARY HISTORY AND ATATURKISH COURSE ON LGS (HIGH SCHOOL TRANSITION SYSTEM) ACCORDING TO TEACHERS’ OPINIONS
ABSTRACT
Social Studies, which provides the socialization of the individual, is to enable the individual to connect with the past and present by taking the life itself as the subject. Social Studies and T.C. The importance of the History of Revolution and Kemalism course is an undeniable fact. The aim of this research is to determine the opinions and thoughts of secondary school Social Studies teachers about the Transition System to High Schools (LGS), which has been implemented since the 2017/2018 academic year, and the questions of the History of Revolution and Kemalism in the exam. In this study, the shortcomings and positive aspects of the participants in the last change made in 2018 regarding the examination process and the way this change was implemented were stated. It is a positive aspect of the exam that students take the exams in their own schools; The fact that the disintegration and regression periods of the Ottoman Empire, which is the 7th grade achievement, are not explained in sufficient detail, that there is no connection between the developments before the 1st World War in the 8th grade, the fact that the measurement tools used in schools and the measurement tools in the central exams are different from each other cause differences between school success and LGS success in students. The imbalance of the unit distribution in the central exams, the scarcity of weekly lesson hours in Social Studies, the results of the system changes and the negative feelings these results have on students and parents are mentioned. Semi-structured interview form, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The data of face-to-face interviews with 8 social studies teachers were subjected to content analysis, taking into account the data of the relevant literature. As a result of the analyzes made; It has been concluded that the Ministry of National Education should find a new solution for a better system for the positive and negative aspects of the exam pass systems in our country.
