UTISGAD Journal (International Journal of Commerce, Industry and Entrepreneurship Studies) is an international, cross-disciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access scholarly journal focusing on the economic, managerial, industrial, commercial, and entrepreneurial dimensions of sustainable development and socio-economic transformation. The journal provides an academic forum for studies related to commerce, industry, business, entrepreneurship, innovation, and management.
UTISGAD Journal is published online by the Silifke Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SITSO), a member of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). The journal publishes one issue per year and adopts a continuous publication model. Under this model, accepted articles are published online within the relevant annual issue as soon as the peer-review process, editorial evaluation, similarity check, language and formatting control, typesetting, DOI assignment, and metadata preparation are completed. Therefore, accepted articles do not need to wait for the completion of a full issue.
UTISGAD Journal publishes original research articles, review articles, conceptual papers, applied research papers, and short academic notes, provided that the manuscript makes a clear scholarly contribution and complies with the journal’s editorial and ethical standards.
The aim of the journal is to encourage researchers to publish empirical, computational, conceptual, and theoretical studies in the fields of business administration, economics, trade, industrial development, entrepreneurship, management sciences, and related social sciences. The journal seeks to promote scientific understanding and support evidence-based decision-making in commerce, industry, and entrepreneurship.
Recognizing the increasing importance of sustainable economic growth, responsible industrialization, innovation, and inclusive entrepreneurship, UTISGAD Journal aims to contribute to the global agenda of sustainable development through high-quality academic publications. As a cross-disciplinary journal, UTISGAD Journal encourages authors to provide sufficient methodological detail so that findings can be assessed, reproduced, and applied across academic and professional contexts. The journal supports open access, research transparency, and open science principles.
In addition, UTISGAD Journal encourages:
- Applied studies addressing real-sector challenges, public–private development initiatives, and regional development needs;
- Studies derived from publicly funded projects, chamber of commerce initiatives, industrial institutions, development agencies, and entrepreneurship ecosystems;
- Research that contributes to evidence-based policy development in commerce, industry, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development;
- Supplementary datasets, models, and analytical materials that enhance transparency, reproducibility, and scholarly communication.
