Title: BREXİT: BİRLEŞİK KRALLIK VE TÜRKİYE DIŞ TİCARETİNDEKİ YANSIMALARI

ÖZET
Son yıllarda ulusal egemenliğe yapılan güçlü vurgu, Birleşik Krallık’ta (BK) uluslararası ilişkileri yeniden şekillendirmiştir. Brexit ile birlikte BK’nin AB’den ayrılma kararı, yakın tarihin en önemli gelişmelerinden biri olarak kabul edilmektedir. Brexit, AB’nin önemli ve etkili bir üyesini kaybetmesi ve dolayısıyla birlik içindeki güç dengesini değiştirmesi nedeniyle küresel düzeyde bir değişime yol açmıştır. BK’nin önemli bir diplomatik stratejisi haline gelen “Küresel Britanya”, Brexit’ten sonra BK’nin dünyadaki konumunu yeniden tanımlamıştır. Brexit’in BK’yi ve tüm Avrupa’yı farklı şekillerde etkilemesi muhtemeldir. Birçok akademik çalışma, çalışmalar arasında dikkate değer bir tutarlılık ile Brexit sonrası BK ticaretindeki düşüşü göstermektedir. Literatürde yakın zaman içerisinde sonuçlanan Brexit’in BK uluslararası dış ticareti üzerindeki etkileri ile ilişkilendirildiği, bunun yanı sıra, BK pazarında önemli bir tedarikçi konumunda olan Türkiye’nin, Brexit’ten sonra BK ile olan dış ticaretindeki konumuna ilişkin güncel nitelikte az sayıda çalışmaya rastlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada Brexit’in BK ve BK–Türkiye arasındaki dış ticaretine etkisi incelenmiş, güncel ve kapsamlı bir literatür araştırması ortaya konularak uluslararası dış ticaret rekabet gücünde etkili önemli unsurların değerlendirilmesinde bulunulmuştur.

BREXIT: ITS REFLECTIONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND TURKEY FOREIGN TRADE
ABSTRACT
In recent years, the powerful emphasis on national sovereignty has reshaped international relations in the United Kingdom (UK). The UK’s decision to leave the EU with Brexit is considered one of the most important incident in recent history. Brexit has led to a change at the global level as the EU lost an important and influential member and thus changed the balance of power within the union. “Global Britain”, which has become an important diplomatic strategy of the UK, has redefined the UK’s position in the world after Brexit. Brexit is possibly to affect the UK and all of Europe in different ways. Many academic researches demonstrate the decline in post-Brexit UK trade, with remarkable consistency across studies. In the literature, few recent studies have been found in which the recently concluded Brexit is associated with the effects on the UK’s international trade, as well as the position of Turkey, which is an important supplier in the UK market, in its foreign trade with the UK after Brexit. In this study, the effect of Brexit on the foreign trade between the UK and the UK-Turkey has been examined, an up-to-date and comprehensive literature research has been put forward and the important factors affecting international foreign trade competitiveness have been evaluated.
